Teen Volunteers

Teen volunteers are an integral part of summer reading!

Feel for how wonderful it can be to volunteer for a great cause, work with kids, and be in an air conditioned community environment where you can get service learning hours and experience for a college or job application.

If you're interested in volunteering with us, you can fill out the volunteer application and bring it into your branch. Ages are 13 and up.

Teen Summer Reading Book Discussion
Noggin by John Corey Whaley

June 30
7 - 8:30pm

Travis Coates used to be alive then he wasn't. Now he's alive again. Simple as that. The in between part is still a little fuzzy, but he can tell you that, at some point or another, his head got chopped off and shoved into a freezer in Denver, Colorado. Five years later, it was reattached to some other guy's body, and well, here he is. Despite all logic, he's still 16 and everything and everyone around him has changed. That includes his bedroom, his parents, his best friend, and his girlfriend. Or maybe she's not his girlfriend anymore? That's a bit fuzzy too. Oh well, you only live twice.
Come out to the library for a fun night of book discussing, other activities and free food! (ages 13-19)
