 		 TEEN VIDEO CONTEST

Lights!  Camera!  Literacy! 

The Calvert Library is excited to announce the inaugural Calvert Library Teen Video Contest.  If you’re an aspiring teen director or maybe just looking to be the next YouTube sensation, then look no further.  

All you have to do is create a short video that promotes either the Calvert Library itself, or reading in general, and upload it to YouTube. 

Each contestant may submit a video 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length. 

There will be three age groups, and a grand prize winner from each group will receive a $25 gift card. 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The contest is open to Calvert County residents ages 12 - 19. Participants cannot be directly related to the panel of judges. Each participant may submit one entry; all video entries must be your original work.

HOW TO ENTER

1 - Complete an entry form.

2 - Fill out a release form.

(Entry forms and release forms are also available at each branch)

3- Upload your video

Upload your 30-second to 3-minute Video Entry to YouTube on or before February 25, 2010

Return your Entry Form to any branch of the Calvert Library by Feb. 25
